History

Stan Johnson, the founder of Steel Structures Inc., made an impression wherever he went. His hard work and commitment are welded into the foundation of the Las Vegas skyline. Everywhere the eye reaches along the I-15 corridor, it falls on something that Johnson’s company either built or helped to make happen.

Stan Johnson opened his first business, Steel Incorporated, in 1969. After many years he established an empire in the process.

In the years that followed, Stan Johnson founded Triangle Steel and Nevada Prefab Engineers. He mentored many in the industry helping them to open their own businesses.

Stan Johnson was known for his attention to detail and his quest for perfection and “getting it done right the first time.” He was involved in the day-to-day business of Steel Structures until his passing in 2017.
